Inspection Sticker Ordering

Transaction Availability Notice:

As the result of a system upgrade, all DMV phone and on-line transactions that require payment by credit card may be temporarily unavailable between 10:00 a.m. and Noon Eastern Daylight Time on Sunday, April 20, 2008.

Safety and emissions inspection certificate stickers may be ordered on-line.

To order on-line you must:

  • have your browser set to enable cookies.
  • know your facility number
  • know which type of stickers you need to order
  • use a credit card for payment
  • have a valid e-mail address to receive confirmation. A protected or blocked e-mail address, including spam blocking software, may prevent you from receiving your confirmation e-mail. Your e-mail program must be able to receive e-mail from addresses that include the domain: dmv.state.ny.us.
 

Stickers will be delivered to you in two weeks, unless you choose express delivery for an additional $10 fee.
