The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYS DMV) today announced that David Marasco, owner of M&M Auto Sales, 601 Rutger Street in Utica, was arrested on 9/12/05 for falsifying business records in the first degree with additional charges pending.

Mr. Marasco is accused of tampering with the odometer on a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am and selling the vehicle with substantially lower mileage to an unsuspecting buyer. Additional charges are pending. Investigators from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Division of Field Investigations made the arrest.
