The NYSDMV has approved these sponsoring agencies to provide accident prevention courses that reduce points and insurance premiums. Contact any of these course providers to get information about a course in your area and to determine the course fee.

You cannot receive the point or insurance benefits for an Internet course. Web sites are provided for information only.

An accident prevention course cannot prevent a mandatory suspension or revocation.

An accident prevention course and point reduction does not affect a driver responsibility assessment.

You cannot use the course as a credit against future driver violation points.
